Haseen Ahmad

Haseen Ahmad is currently a project manager in Building Quality Assurance Department, at McIntosh Perry (formerly CCI Group Inc.). Haseen holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. In his current position working as a field review consultant, his career is dedicated to the quality assurance of new construction, including townhouses, mid-rise, and high-rise buildings. He has versatile experience throughout his career, including quality control, business development, project management, project planning, and scheduling.

Robert Dziurdzik

Robert is a Building Science Consultant at Pretium Engineering Inc. His experience includes investigations; condition assessments; and design, specification development, and contract administration for the restoration of parking garages, balconies, roofs, EIFS over-cladding, and other building enclosure components. He looks forward to contributing and being an active member of the Ontario Building Envelope Council.

Andrew Chong

Drew graduated in 2015 from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in the Honours Civil Engineering – Co-operative Program. Immediately thereafter, Drew began working as a Building Science Consultant for RDH Building Science Inc., first in Seattle, Washington, and now currently in Toronto, Ontario. Drew has gained a wealth of building enclosure design and construction experience through the involvement in both new construction, as well as existing buildings. Some of this experience includes design reviews, shop drawing reviews, thermal/hygrothermal modeling, construction field review, performance testing (i.e., whole building air tightness, water penetration), forensic investigations, and building enclosure condition assessments. Drew is excited to be a holder of the Building Science Specialist designation as he continues to gain industry experience working on high performance buildings.

Jonathan Chan

Jonathan is a Senior Project Manager at CMS Building Consultants Inc.  He is an Architectural Science, Building Science Major graduate from Ryerson University.  He has over 10 years of practical experience in building assessment, reserve fund study, design, contract administration, and management of restoration projects to existing buildings and site components.  Various types of restoration projects include: roof replacement, balcony repair, window and door replacement, brick and masonry remedial, EIFS over-cladding, siding replacement, parking garage remedial, podium and foundation waterproofing, structural repair, site remedial, interior renovation, and building services upgrade/overhaul. He utilizes his building science knowledge to implement in the projects that best interest the client and community.

Karen Lam

Karen is a graduate from Ryerson University with a Bachelors of Architectural Science specializing in the building science field. She is currently a Building Science Project Coordinator providing building science consulting services. She has experience in building envelope and restoration projects which include investigations, specification preparation, and construction review. 

Ping Mu

Ping is a Building Enclosure Consultant with the Diagnostics Group at Walter P Moore (Toronto Office). She holds a Master of Engineering (Civil Engineering) degree from University of Toronto, with a specialization in Building Science.  Ping’s focus is on building enclosure consulting and building diagnostics.  Her expertise includes evaluating, assessing, and designing repairs for distress related to exterior wall assemblies and roofing systems; historic building facade assessment and rehabilitation; building performance modeling; load check for existing structures; and parking garage assessment and repairs.  Ping routinely develops contract documents including drawings and technical specifications, as well as providing construction administration.

Rachel Gullage

Rachel Gullage joined Cleland Jardine Engineering in 2016 as a Building Specialist with the Building Science department in Ottawa. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Engineering from Carleton University and is pursuing her Master of Applied Science in Civil Engineering concurrent with her role at Cleland Jardine. Rachel regularly participates in building condition assessments to evaluate building condition, diagnose structural and building envelope problems, and aid clients in capital planning.  In addition, she is responsible for the preparation of project specifications, drawings, and tender documents for a wide variety of building envelope restoration projects across the commercial, institutional, and residential sectors. Her involvement in contract administration and field review services helps to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with the project requirements.

Krista MacWilliam

Krista MacWilliam joined the Building Science Department of Cleland Jardine Engineering Ltd. in 2017.  She has a Bachelor of Engineering in Architectural Conservation and Sustainability from Carleton University and is a graduate of the Erasmus Mundus’ Masters in the field of Structural Analysis of Monuments and Historical Constructions (SAHC). Krista is trained in building condition assessment and restoration of various building envelope typologies and systems, including heritage and modern masonry, EIFS, stucco, precast, windows, doors, curtainwall, and low-slope roofing systems. She has worked with both residential and commercial buildings. On projects, Krista is involved with the condition review, planning, design, tender review, field review services, and construction project administration to ensure a quality end product.
